To Create New Pipeline

  1. Click the Create New Pipeline option from the Piping ribbon.

    The Create Pipeline dialog displays.

  2. Optional: Open the Pipeline Manager from the Piping taskbar and click the Create Pipeline option.
  3. In the Create Pipeline dialog, click the Associations tab.
  4. Define the Unit and System for the pipeline by selecting a value from drop down lists.
    Note: You can also add or edit existing associations if desired.
  5. Click the Properties tab and enter a tag number for the pipeline in the Tag Information section.
    Note: The tag name is the only required field in the Create Pipeline dialog.
  6. Enter additional descriptive values for the pipeline in the remaining property sections if desired.
  7. Click Save to create the new pipeline.
